Question about LG RD-JT91 Multimedia Projector
LG RD-JT91 Multimedia Projector seems to have a blown fuse if that is what it is. looks like a ceramic resistor with metal ends and is soldered into the pc board and has infinite resistance, also coupled in series with the PSU. On the pc board next to it is a lable 6.3AH. Is this a fuse or a backup battery. if its a fuse where in the world will I find it or should I modify. I discovered that the PSU extractor fan was stuck so I presume a fuse could have blown.

SOURCE: lamp reset LG RD-JT40
Try to do this, press the ENTER button on the TV and the MUTE button on the remote at the same time. After 5 seconds the screen should come up and it will read "Lamp use time...Total lamp use time ....lamp reset" Press the center button on your remote (the circle button right in the middle of the four directional buttons) and you will be reset to -0- again. Your orange light should now be off.

SOURCE: LG RD-JT91 PSU problem
On the left hand side where all the inputs are located you will see a very small screw , that is most probably what's keeping you from opening it.
Also remember to take off the cover to the front and do this slowly because the translation board's lint is attached to the top cover. Once open you can just unhook it and then you'll be looking for the board with the AC inlet on it.
