Plug it on to the computer, open the drive from the removable disk section, select all songs, delete them...
Else after plugging it to the comp right click on the remobable disk and format/reformat the disk

Either way all the songs will be deleted...

Good day

How to clear songs on a 2gb ipod want to clear old songs and make a new play list.

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio Books, etc. from MP3 Player
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer" When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there. Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible. Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete" Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want. Be careful and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player. Make you new playlist in ITunes and then download to your player. Good Luck, I hope this helps Please rate me, Thank You

My son has a philips go gear mp3 player 2gb some

Ok, just make sure you put songs that are compatible with the player like mp3 or wma, but most preferably, mp3. if you put any other format than mp3 it will only appear as a file in the flash and will not play.

Want the deafult songs in philips go gear 2GB back

Beethoven's 5th Symphony was one of them.
You can reaquire them by uninstalling Windows Media Player, and then reinstalling it from the installation CD for the Philips - my opinion, which is just my opinion, is that it is more trouble than it's worth.

Phillips SA3125 2GB "shuffle all" problem.

I would go ahead and try the firmware update to see if it resolves your issue - for the firmware update to work, you have to get the most recent version of the Philips Device Manager from Philips website. It will erase all the songs in the GoGear, so make sure you have them backed up.

Go Gear 2gb

First of all you need to restore the player.
Install and run the Philips Device Manager from the product CD.
Select the Repair/Restore option and follow the on-screen prompts. This will format the player and re-load the firmware.

The HDD1830 is only fully compatible with Windows XP and Windows Media Player 10. If you have Windows Media Player 11 you will need to uninstall it. This will roll it back to version 10.

Tracks must be transferred to the HDD1830 using the Media Player Sync function.

The HDD1830 is only compatible with .MP3 or .WMA music tracks. It is not compatible with iPod .AAC tracks.
