Question about Philips Televison & Video
A pink (Magenta) vertical line appears on the screen from time to time about 2/3rds from the left. I am able to get rid of this line by switching the set off for about 20 secs. This may happen 2 or 3 times in one night and then may not happen again for another 2 weeks or so.
Vertical magenta lines could be a symptom of a loose connection to the optical assembly,or a source of interference. Try resetting the TV first - unplug from wall socket for about 2 hours, replug, and see if it works.
Also check the cables/connections from your cable box, etc and see if the issue can be resolved by manipulating the wires. Could be a loose connection..
