E 840 is a shutter motor error. This is in the fixing assy. If it is a fresh in stall make sure to follow the right installation procedure.

Now when i put my photocopy machine on the SC542 code error appears So i need a solution for this problem

Hi rfofie,

There's no specific brand or model you have mentioned on the issue that you needed help. However, I can provide you the meaning of the error code that you are getting. The SC542 error code is a Fuser Temperature Error. That means that the fuser did not warm up fast enough. You will have to replace the fuser to get rid off the error.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for using Fixya.

My canon photocopier ir3170 is indicating e255-001,what fault do we have

Hello,
you probably got the E225-001 error because the error that you say is not in the manual.
E225 CIS light intensity error.
At time of power-on or at the start of a job, the machine cannot find out whether the lamp has gone on normally for shading correction.
You must call a tech to verify the scanning lamp (xenon tube), CIS, inverter PCB, and reader controller PCB.

I rifil canon Fax -JX 201. 1st time It Good worked. But 2nd Refill icant get photocopy; But it say "No ink" .How to Reset that error

Hi,
by refilling the ink crg. you probably destroy head electronics. Buy new one ORIGINAL, and try then.If you must refill ink be carefull, rather buy new reffiled ink, where the chip is resetted.

Hope that helps!
