Need hy-tek big button remote code for motorola dct3416
I need the correct code to use the motorola dct3416 HD DVR with the hy-tek big button remote.I used the code 215 listed in the manual for motorola cable boxes (the other once, 216, didn't work at all) and it worke for everything but Menu. Gudioe just gives me the guide, but i have nmo way to get to the Menu, and/or the DVR, HD channel guide, etc.I used the code auto-search and it foudn the same code (21%). Menu is not even listed in the instruction booklet in the Cable buttons description. The Menu function is very important on that Comcast box, as it leads to the DVR functions (to see what was recorded, play it, etc.)

Find the code and try to reprogram it or have the remote tested to see if it is sending a signal or not---most shops can and will check it for free--a digital camera in a dark room will react (most of them) when remote is pointed at it on the camera display with a flash of light.
Nope, not the hard drive. you wouldn't be able to pause at all. Its your remote...
try simple things like checking to see if your in the right mode. (what lights up on your remote when you push buttons?)
IMO if you swap the box you will have the same problem. try a different remote... maybe one from another room.
I too had been looking for a code to program my remote. The problem was that GFM is not a recognized TV company like most other companies. So I figured it must have been done by another company and Meijer just put their brand on it and I was right. The company that made the TV is Funai. If you try looking for that company in the list it may be their. I know I was able to find it for my Directv remote. Hope this helps.
There is no code!!! -- Solution...You have to buy a universal remote with learning capabilities. I’ve ordered one that will not only learn off other remotes but can handle 10 components also. I got it from 10x it’s called the iconRemote control…if you call the company they will give you a discount (but you have to call them and ask) AWESOME!
