Right click on the desktop in a blank area, go to properties, then settings, and adjust the screen resolution to the appropriate setting.

your hp only has a 350 watt power supply, you need at least 400 watt, preferably 450 - 500 watt.

No Graphics

Shine a flashlight on the dark screen to see if you barelysee the icons on the desktop. If so, then the LCD Inverter is bad.

Plug in an external monitor and see if the display shows up on it. It can beany kind of monitor even the old big fat crt monitors as long as it has a vgacable to connect to your computer's vga port. If so that proves yourvideo card is ok. The video will show on most systems when you rebootwithout you having to do anything. Some systems will require you to hit the FN(Function key) + F1 thru F12. Hold down the FN key then hit the correctkey for displaying on the monitor (F1 thru F12). The correct key willnormally have CRT/LCD on it or it will have the icon of a display.

If you see no icons by shinning a flash light and the external monitor works, then your screen is bad. If you see no icons by shinning the flash lightand nothing shows on the external monitor, then most likely your video card isbad.

Contact support for the game you are playing. There is normally a link on the page for contact us. There are so many games on facebook it will be impossible for any of use to tell you exactly what to do with out knowing what game, and even then the only thing we will be able to do is provide you with a link to the appropiate support for that game.

The second laptop is better. It has .7GHz better speed for the CPU, and has a stand alone graphics card versus the integrated graphics card of the first laptop.

TRYING TO CONNECT TWO MONITORS FOR EXTENDING USE

1) You have to have a graphics card with two monitor ports.

You Cannot use one port on a graphics card, and the VGA, or DVI port on the motherboard of the computer.
BIOS will only let you use the graphics card, or the Integrated Graphics.

2) Using a 'splitter' cable results in very bad graphics on two monitors, or no graphics at all.

3) With a graphics card installed that has two monitor ports on it, connect the monitors to the graphics card.

[ The graphics card can have a VGA port, and a DVI port. Or the graphics card can have two DVI ports.

VGA = Video Graphics Array
Photo of a VGA port,

Photo of a VGA cable,

DVI = Digital Visual Interface

Information about DVI showing a DVI cable, and connector examples for the DVI port on a graphics card,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Visual_Interface ]

4) Turn the two monitors on once they are connected to the graphics card.
Turn on the computer.

5) Windows loaded, right-click on an empty area of the desktop screen.

6) In the list go to the bottom, and click on Properties

7) Click on the Settings tab.

8) You will see two monitor icons.
One icon has a square with a 1 in it.
The other icon has a square with a 2 in it.

The 1 monitor icon is used to represent your Primary monitor.
The one you have been using.
As you can see the 1 monitor icon is sitting to the Left.
This is how your Primary monitor should be sitting on your computer desk.

The 2 monitor icon is used to represent your Secondary monitor.
The one you are going to add.
As you can see the 2 monitor icon is sitting to the Right.
This is how your Secondary monitor should be sitting on your computer desk.

Left-click on the 2 monitor icon.
Go below in the Display Properties window, and view where it states -

Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor

There is an empty square to the left of it.
Left-click in the empty square.

Now go below to the Right, and click on - Apply
Finally go below to the Left, and click on - OK

Your desktop screen will now be on your Secondary monitor.

Whatever is on your Primary monitor, has to be drug over to the Secondary monitor, when you are on the internet, or a program. (Such as a game)

Go to the blue frame on the Left side of the Windows screen.
When your cursor turns into a double-headed arrow STOP.

You'll find it's a little tricky your first time, keeping your cursor into the position where it turns into a double-headed arrow.
With the cursor in a double-headed arrow, press the left mouse button down, hold it down.
Drag the monitor screen to the Left.

Keep dragging until the window on your Primary monitor is on your Secondary monitor.
It's helpful you'll find to have two of the same size monitors.

I have found occasion where when using the internet on two monitors, that I had to Restore Down the screen, THEN drag it over to the Secondary monitor screen.

(Icons at the top right of the monitor screen.
Minimize ( - ), .......Restore Down/Maximize, ...........Red X

Then I Maximized the screen

Hi, i just installed: Hunting unlimited 2008 today and i double-click on the icon and i get: "Sys_no_graphics" its the prism3d.exe i think that is causing the problem. is there a patch or anything that can...

Hello darrel_grn:
It seems that you have a graphics driver missing for the video card you are using in the game.
Many of the big games and programs which need heavy graphics to make it work right, need to be able to detect the video card, and sound card. Look in your help files or online to see what the program supports. You may be able to get drivers from the author's website, if that is the problem.
Here you can get different drivers for that game. http://www.scssoft.com/huntingunlimited2008-support.php

You may want to try to uninstall the game and re-install it again, and make sure no other programs are running, especially anti virus programs which can cause programs to not install correctly if they are running.
You may also check to make sure your system is up to date. I assume you are running some version of Windows. I did a short research of the game, and it does not seem to be very complicated.

Cannot run computer game

Is your Game application in a good condition; can it be played at others computer? In fact some big Games required more graphic Memory e.g 256Mb etc. So read your game system requirement from "readme" that comes along your game CD/DVD hope that may help.
Graphic Memory is different from Physical Memory. AMD has a good graphic memory and is good for gamers

dear,
doent matter what the icon size ur using normally. i vedio game there it has its own resolution size in Vedio setting/graphic setting. when u go to play the game, the game mode will be changed according to the internal game setting, and when u quits then it will come back to its original setting.

2ndly, u talked about the game on ur hp6000. what ur system contains:
its depend upon the VGA card capacity and ur ram too.
u can check what is causing problem in the requirements of the game Readme file .
check and confirm the requirements there

regards,

hope u will rate it.
