Question about Motorola Mobility TracFone C139-4 Cellular Phone
I was given this tracfone and bought minutes for it, but it is saying that sim card is not registered. What do I do?
Many providers will have the rights to so many numbers, so they will have certain stages before the number gets recycled. For many providers it will be based on inactivity. So, that account is probably now inactive and a new account needs to be purchased.
If you feel this can't be the case, you can try and make sure that the sim card is making proper connection. First, check the SIMs card for dirt or damage. If it is filthy, we use rubbing alcohol and a soft toothbrush to clean it, if it is damaged then that might be your problem and you'll need to purchase a new one and have the account moved to that SIMs. Also, make sure that the SIM card is put down properly (I can't tell you the amount of times when people don't put it down in the grooves) and if it isn't a sliding slot, that it clips down properly.
