Question about InFocus LP 600 Multimedia Projector

LP600 No Power

We experienced a power failure. When the power was restored, the InFocus projector would not power on. We tested the power supply lines with a FlukeMeter to confirm that power was being supplied to the unit, but unitwas still inop. My question is WHERE is the fuse located on this unit? I don't want to take it apart in a random fashion.
Your help with this matter would be greatly appreciated!

Ditto. - Have a projector that was working great. Then after a power outage, the unit has no power, not even the "power" LED lights (it lights even when the unit is off.) It was plugged into a so-called "surge protector" but it looks like it didn't do any good. I have checked AC lines with a VOM and power is getting to the unit, but that seems to be as far as it goes.

I work in a school district, and we have FOUR projectors with this problem. I contacted the company, and they tried to sell me an extended warranty.

Have the same problem here too, but in answer to the original question...the fuse is located immediately behind the AC plug-in. Its a 5AH 250V. In our case it tested good. All components physically appeared normal. Still not powering on.

We have the same problem of power to the machine but it does not come on. The projector is on a state ferry and it was in the yards so the odds that the power was turned off while it was on are pretty good. One of our engineers thought it was a fuse problem so if you could give us some direction and if we could have a manual sent to State of Alaska DOT &PF Alaska Marine Highway 7559 N. Tongass Highway, Ketchikan Alaska 99801, C/O Denise Pooler Passenger Svcs Inspector that would be great

make sure the lamp door is engaging the safety switch. manually reset the lamp hours and reflash the software, if that don't work it's most likely the power supply.

Lp600 went dead

i had the same problem with my 2 years old infocus lp600. on the mains section of the power supply board you have 4 100uF/16v and 1 4,7uF/35V electrolyt condenser of a 85 degree type. that means it will work 2000 hours at 85 degree (celsius). since the power supply only switch off the lamp in standby with no fan the power supply get hot- i think about 70 degree. so after two years in stanby it is evident that this condensers loose halve of their capacity - after switch off no new start. changing this condensers with new ones of 105 degree type will solve tis problem. and for the future - no more stanby.
