Laptop sometimes switches off when moved.

Sounds like a loose connection where the laptop opens and closes hinge there are wires that run from the main screen to the main board. If you know how to take the unit apart it maybe a cheap fix if not then a new laptop maybe the way to go the prices have really dropped from 4 years ago

My LG TV is About 2.5 years old. The picture is still great, but it keeps going out. I have to hit it on the right upper area of the TV in order for the pic to come back in but it only stays @ 10 minutes...

seems the tv has a dry solder joint on one of the boards ie loose connection where the component solders in. The boards will need to be reflowed with solder and all cables checked and resat.

I have a thin green vertical line right to center on a Dell Latitude D610. If I move the screen back and forth I can make it disappear and come back.

That indicates a problem with the lcd contacts or the data connector. There is also a chance of it being just the cable itself that connect the motherboard to the display.

If you lightly tap the screen edges with a finger and it changes it is the lcd connector. If you tap the bottom of the laptop towards the screen edge that will tell you if it is a loose motherboard connector. The type of error means it could be either but the movement seems to indicate the connector more. The lcd can be fixed but usually is cheaper to replace as it is a very finicky repair. The motherboard connector needs the laptop to be part disassembled to re seat the connector.

The monitor turns off and on repeatedly.

Is it desktop or laptop computer?
If its desktop the data cable might be loose on the back of the desktop computer.

U600 screen blank

Take the battery out, and with a small watch makers screw driver unscrew the 4 screws you see and their is another two at the end under the cover which you need to pull off. But don't worry as it sticks on.

under the bottom half there is a connection which may have come loose as its only a simple push in clip which tend to come loose.

Black comes across right side of screen

Sounds like you've got whats called a cold solder connection somewhere in the horizontal width control circuit or a connection in the sweep section. Should'nt be two expensive but unless you have had some soldering and troubleshooting experience I would leave this on to the pros. Good Luck
