Can't delete ringtones from device, which are slowing down performance.

My Curve 8310 is suddenly performing extremely slowly. I'm trying to delete many of my ringtones (I've already deleted many photos) to free up space, but nothing happens when I delete each ringtone. Help!

The pre-loaded ringtones that come with the device are locked, and can't be deleted. If you are trying to delete some ringtones that you added, then once you delete them perform a hard reset. This is done by removing the battery from the BlackBerry while it is still powered on. Leave the battery out for 30 seconds, then reinsert.

Also, look in the link below for other tips on how to free up memory, which will help with performance:

It sounds like you have virus on the phone and in this case you will have to take it to a dealer so that they can help you there with the phone as they need to reformat and re install what the phone had on it from the Factory to get rid of that virus.a Reputed repair and servicing dealer will be able to help as they have the instruments needed to do the job.

    Call log deleted

It is because your phone is out of memory. You need to buy a memory card and move you pictures, ringtones, and music onto that and then it will stop doing that.
