Dantz 6.5 error message?

I just asked if Retrospect 6.5 is compatible with Windows 7. I'm still not sure yet. I got past the intro screens, but when I went to execute the backup, I got an error message. "Error: Scanning Incomplete, error -625 (not enough memory)." This is a brand new I5 machine with plenty of memory. Help!

I tried selecting a much smaller file to backup to see if it was a space issue. No dice, and there is plenty of memory on the drive. The other part, is when I start the program, it says I need administrator status, or it won't run properly. But I checked, and I have administrator status. So...... foiled again.

It refers to the memory selected for to be the location for the final result ..or there is not enough in the C drive ..if the drive is made too small

read this article . It seams it is compatible only with Microsoft Windows Small Business Server ..and probably this is the issue if you want to use it to back-up your computer only ..
If this is the intention to make a back-up image of your computer ..or make periodic ones.. try to use another program designed to do that ..

take a look and on the down-page you will have some links for download if you want to try ..

Hi, I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro M15-S405 with a flickering screen. Is it possible to replace the video card on this model?

It may be nothing wrong but the message on start is indicates the lack of video driver for it ..I suggest to download the latest driver from the manufacturer's site ..and be sure it is for your model and operation system in use..run the driver and will ask for restart ..after that will work fine ..It may need to make manually adjustments for the resolution you need.Make them directly from the video card settings ..(on the task bar tray )
http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=380609&rpn=PS630U&modelFilter=M15-S405&selCategory=2756709&selFamily=1073768667
These are all drives for your model under the windows xp ..(being a old model it has no drivers for windows 7 ..
If you are running windows 7 you can install the windows xp driver but it will give you an error unless you open the driver's folder and look for teh executable (installer ) ..and click right on it ..choose properties..and under the compatibility ..select to run in compatibility with windows xp ..,than apply and OK .
Run it again ..and will also give you the error ..but will offer to run it in compatibility mode..choose it and install ..After restart just click right on desktop choose change resolution ..and select a larger one ..pay attention that not all will fit on your monitor .usually for the 15 inch monitor try 1024 /768 ..
If you use windows xp ..just run the driver and it will fix the issue .

How can i tell if files are actually backing up. I would like to know where to look for additional comfort that I am having back-ups made.

if you have a maintenance plan that is doing this for you automatically, then try and restore one of the backups to see if it is ok.

I recently purchased Dracula 1 & 2 as a set. I downloaded Dracula Resurection but have a problem. All I can get is the intro screen than reads Index, France Telecom Multimedia, Canal+ multimedia...

What operating system are you trying to run it on?
2 for 1: Dracula Resurrection & The Last Sanctuary runs on the following operating systems: Windows 98/ME/XP it is possible that its not compatible with which ever operating system your trying to get it to load on. But have no fear, a possible fix for it is right clicking the .exe that you run the game with and click Properties at the bottom of the list. Once that loads go to the "Compatibility" tab and under Compatibility Mode select Windows XP (service pack 2) , if that doesn't work try Windows 98 / Windows ME. Best of luck, if this doesn't work, please leave a comment and I'll get back to it as soon as I can =)

Dantz software?

I think the MS PRO portion is for a card reader for formating a memory stick if you have one, if not don't worry.
