Press menu & *2864 in this manner
Wait for the machine to display "IIIIIIMAINTENANCEIIIIII " on the LCD. Press 74, follow by 0003 (Germany), press MONO START, wait for IIIIIImaintenanceIIIIII on display. Press 99 to exit.
If you are using Windows XP, please do the following:
Step 1: Open Control Panel
Step 2: Go to Regional and Language Options
Step 3: Click on the tab "Languages" on the top
Step 4: Choose "Details"
Step 5: Click "Add"
Step 6: Under Input language choose "German (Germany)"
Step 7: Under Keyboard Layout choose "German"
Step 8: Click "Ok"
Step 9: Under Default input language choose:
"German (Germany) - German"
Step 10: Click "Apply" then Click "Ok".
I would then shutdown the CF27 and when you restart, the keyboard will be in German. That is it.

Menu > Tools > Settings > Phone > General > Phone Language
The settings menu can be identified easily because it has a Spanner picture for it..The phone settings is the first option in settings menu ..General option is first in Phone menu,where you choose the language option and you can choose the english language...
