BIG PROBLEM with my Toshiba Satellite P205-S6337

I just got this computer in June 2007 but didn't have money for an extended warranty. Of course the inevitable happened and now I'm having problems... All of a sudden, whenever I leave my computer open for more than 15 minutes with inactivity, it will go into standby. When I touch the fingerpad or a key, it comes up for a second, then goes straight to blue screen. Then, it restarts into the Command prompt. I usually click "start windows normally". BUT when I was out of town last week, the computer would automatically upon startup go to the blue screen. I was also unable to get wifi connection without it going to the blue screen then shutting down repeatedly. The only way the internet would work would be after about 6 shutdowns and blue screen, and me saving the connection to start automatically, but only in the "start windows in safe mode with networking" from the command prompt screen. I also tried using a LAN Cable, with the same effect the second I stuck that cable in, it shut down my computer. Please help me out here. I don't know what to do!

How do you change a keyboard in a toshiba p205-s6337 laptop

It is not a simple operation -- if you have to ask "how", STOP, and take the computer to a qualified technician, to get it done correctly, and without any collateral damage.

Intermittant red raster

Is it under warranty?

I'd call Toshiba and let them try some stuff with ya over the phone - chances are you have a loose connection to your display, or the display itself may be pooping out on you.
