Do not wait to call service .
Before your food is all ruined.
You may need to find the leak and replace the a shot of coolant that may have leaked out!
But be ready for anything if you let it go with that buzzing sound for a long time with out correcting it!

If it sounds wrong, it is!
Next time follow your feeling and act. Don't wait!
I am sorry I am not able to be there hands on.

Thank You for asking us for our advice.

Fridge sometimes amkes a buzzing sound when motor

It is quite normal for some models to make this sound while running. As long as everything else is working properly then there is nothing to worry about. To be more precise, if the unit starts and turns itself off after a short while then the thermostat etc... are working fine.

Amana side by side, buzzing, no fan in fridge.

that sound is the relay/overload. it is trying to start the compressor. the problem is either that relay or the compressor itself

Kenmore Elite Trio not cooling

sounds to me as if the compressor is overheating and shutting itself down (the buzzing noise) Once a compressor overheats it throws itself into what is called thermal overload. There are several reasons that a compressor will do this. But you said you turned it off and back on and it worked for a while. If this is so then it is possible that your unit could be low on freon or the coils under the base of the fridge has a lot of debris on them. To clean the coils just purchase a coil brush from your local hardware store and using a flashlight to see, brush all of the debris off the coils. make sure to unplug the unit before doing this. If the coils are clean then you need to have the pressures check on your compressor to see if the proper level of freon is there. An appliance tech should be able to check this for you for a minimal cost. Good Luck

REFRIGERATOR IS MAKING A BUZZING SOUND, not cooling

You have one of two problems going on. Your fan is spinning at hitting the sides. Or your compressor is shot which seems to be more the problem and even though it is cold the humming sound is a warning for you that the compressor is shot and it is more affordable to replace the fridge then the compressor. Sometimes compressor can cost more then the fridge.

You need to clean your coils under the 'fridge,' and wait 24 hours, if it is not not getting cold, perhaps replace the freon. If that does not work, you need to call a repairman.

Freezer only cool, fridge not cold as well

it sounds like the relay on the back of the unit may have gone bad.or the compressor has a leak in the line...call a tech out and have it checked...it may be cheaper to get a new fridge

Kenmore side by side Refrigirator

Sounds like you have a defrost problem. The timer could be playing up and taking too long to defrost, which causes the evaporator to ice up, hence no cold air to the fridge and the water line freezes up, hence no water dispensed. When the timer does eventually defrost the fridge then everything returns to normal. This could also be caused by a faulty defrost terminator or bad connection on the defrost element.
