Xerox provides Secure Print and optional Image Overwrite to protect your classified or private information. See your System Administrator for more information about security.

    1. Secure Print: is a standard network feature. Jobs are held in the print queue until you enter your personal 4-10 digit Secure Print ID.
    2. Image Overwrite: is available upon request as an optional feature. When available, the overwrite components are enabled by the Machine Administrator. The two components are Immediate Image Overwrite and On Demand Image Overwrite.

    • Immediate Image Overwrite: makes sure that all information related to a job is immediately overwritten after the successful completion of each job. You can view job overwrite status at the machine using the Job Status pathway button located on the Touch Screen. The system will display a fault message and instructions if the overwrite was unsuccessful.
    • On Demand Image Overwrite: irretrievably overwrites all of the physical areas of the disks that hold data. All jobs in the active queue will be deleted and overwritten. Jobs sent during the overwrite process are held and released after the overwrite process has finished.

Whit Windows 7 my Printer Xerox Docuprint P8x No driver exist. Please Help me!!!!

Before you can solve this problem, you must determine if the Xerox Docuprint P8x is supported under the operating system you are using, i.e. 7. You can find that information here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/default.aspx

You say you are using Windows 7 ... I'm guessing you recently upgraded your computer or OS from an earlier version and that your printer worked fine with 98 or Mel~ or XP or Vista.

If you find the printer listed, you will have your answer at that listing. If it is not listed, you CAN ask Xerox if you like, for support. Don't expect much help. It is time to upgrade your printer OR - get a computer with the operating system that supports the printer, i.e. anything pre 7. Then, you can create and transfer the document you want to print to the older computer and print it that way.

Probably not the answer you hoped for ... but I think you will find it is a correct answer.

PRINTING PROBLEMS

Maybe I can help;
I'll assume you have a windows operating system.
There are two ways to print, one is hitting the print icon wherever that may be in the current program and the second is to use the longer method of going to: file/print.. which takes to you to the print setup box.
This may be where you need to set the print properties for this particular document.
The first method uses whatever your default printing setup is.. such as which printer, portrait mode,
draft or best quality....etc.

If you always use the same print setup you can set this in; start/settings/control panel/printers/
Your default printer will have a check next to it.
Hope this helps

  2. To access router's setup page, launch IE and on the address field type 192.168.1.1 (which is the default IP address of Linksys routers). Then, it will ask for a username and password. By default, there is no username. The password is admin.
  3. Once you're in the Linksys setup, go to WIRELESS tab. There is a subtab called Wireless Security.
  4. Click on wireless security tab and you will find there the security key or wep key that is enabled in your router.
