You could try a partial reset of the printer
Unplug the power cord
Reconnect power cord
When lights are flashing, press & hold On/Resume and PaperSize buttons
When only the On/Resume light is flashing, release both buttons
When On/Resume light is steady, reset is completed
My first quesiton to you would be:
What version of windows are you using. If you are using Windows Vista you will need to go to the HP Site and download the new updated drivers for the new OS.
Second Question :
Are you using genuine HP printer catriges?
If so make sure the contact point where the catrigr and the printer meet are clean and free of dust.
Try re seating the cartriges and re calibrating th printer.
I checked with HP online tech support and they backed me on this.
If you have any more trouble feel free to email me :
Have a great day.
