Unless you are very skilled there does not seem to be an easy fix for this problem. This is the second machine i hvae had in under a year with the same problem. I contacted Sony regarding this latest problem, and they have given me a replacement unit. The customer service was second to none but i wonder if it is a bigger problem then Sonyare leting on???

I purchased an Imation Apollo || and my Macintosh computer won't recognize it. The blue light stays on, but that's it.

Please run disk utility and see if you can find it physically first.

If you do, please format it.

If you don't, first connect it by using very short usb cable into back of your mac. (Sometimes, usb ports in front or monitor don't provide its power fully.)

I hope it helps.

My droid 2 is not recognizing the motorola hs820 bluetooth device; I have no info on how to set the hs820 to pair

I think I can help here:
Make sure your headset and phone are charged before doing anything else. The blue light on your headset will come on when it is charging, and will shut off when fully charged.
To put your headset in pairing mode, make sure it is completely off first (no blinking blue light). Then hold down the Call button for 6-10 seconds until the blue light stays on. (It will likely flash once and shut off, but keep holding until it is all the way on and stays there!)
From there, go into the settings on your Droid 2 and access the bluetooth connections. Do a new scan for your headset if you don't see it listed, pair, and connect!

Computer not recognizing

There's a fault inside. If you're lucky the fault is in the connector plate so removing the disk and putting it in a pc will allow you full access to the data. If when you do that the disk is still not recognized , or worse, it messes your pc, then the disk is dead and the data is lost.

Ps3 console: Put disks into machine and it now does not recognize them. The blue read light stays on, but get nothing.

I had the same issue after playing Call of Duty 4. Just wouldn't read any type of disc. Spoke to Sony sent a new PS3 out the very next day. My brother in law a week later experienced the same, again Sony sent new PS3 out. I think theres a problem with it, and thats why Sony just replaces them with no questions asked to avoid bad publicity

Having a "device not recognized" issue with a Sandisk 512mb Titanium flashdrive. The blue LED won't light up consistently unless I repeatedly reinsert it into USB hub a number of times, and it...

I have one of the Sans disk also. I find its the connector itself. I really like the Sans disk, but it not working is a real pain. I find if I'm a little more gentle, like inserting it slowly, it seems to be recognized more often.

Drive Being Recognized as Removable Disk

Same issue with my 500 GB TFD500U16. A little more description is that my PC is detecting the power when turning on the drive and the HDD itself is spinning up. Also the Blue light that normally indicates HDD activity by turning Red no longer shows activity but just stays Blue. This indicates that the data side of the HDD is not seated properly. Since mine is out of Warranty, I took it apart and found this to be the exact case.
! ! ! ! Please perform this at your own risk ! ! ! ! Especially if your warranty is still in effect! ! ! By loosening the HDD mounting screws inside that will allow the connection to seat properly and data to be seen.

Disk tray won't stay in

Your PS2 is definitely broken. Either send it in to Sony to be repaired or buy a new PS3. Bummer. Sorry to hear about this.
