Canon Pixma MP140 alarmlight on, nothing else lit, no response.

Canon Pixma 140, when plugged in, ON/OFF button illuminates for about one second then gfoes off as Alarm light illuminates steady amber, which is the only thing illuminated at all. No response from anything at all. Please help... I live in Samoa where I bought this thing about five months ago and there is no warranty or support here at all.

SOURCE: Cannot instal canon pixma MP140 have CD but not

Yes, you may.

Go to: MP140 Support

Click on the Drivers & Downloads tab. Select your operating system from the drop down menu.

All available software will then be listed for you to download.

The easiest thing to do when the download window appears is to Save the file to your desktop and run it from there. That is, if you are not comfortable saving it to another location, such as a Temp folder.

If you need any further help, just use the Comment button.

Thanks for using Fixya.
