Scan head(A part in flat bed scanner unit moving forward & reverse while scanning/copying) driving mechanism broken, replace it.For tech guys only:> open flat bed glass, pick out scan head unit,remove screws & detach drive mechanism,, Follow the snap shots to make alteration...Pl dont try it if you are not having that much technical skills..
This information is giving you to on basis of my knowledge & experience, if you find any difficulty to alter the part just replace it with new one..Thanks for using FIXYA
