Question about Samsung SGH-U700 Cellular Phone
I have the same problem
Posted on Oct 25, 2008
I had the same problem but I had also lost the use of the central push button some time before that so could do abolutely nothing. I took it to my Vodafone shop and they sent it off for repair for free. They bolted a new facia to the old back part so clearly it was hardware-related. Suggest you take it to a store and hope you're covered for repair.
Awful phone has just stopped playing any sounds, too... so I overslept this morning when the alarm didn't make any noise. Can't wait to get a new handset. It won't be Samsung.

Contact samsung regarding a software update, or if you prefer; flash the software yourself
