Hoover six 1200 Noise on drying cycle

When finished washing, and the washer goes on to the drying cycle, there is a disturbing noise from the machine, and the drum spins quickly for a second, and then slows again. It does this repeatedly through the dry cycle. Still dries well, but there doesn't seem to be a problem other than on drying.

SOURCE: My WVF 2402 washer/dryer washes clothes ok but doesn't dry them.

Sorry I'm way late with this but I've only just noticed it. Unplug the machine from the mains! Remove the lid (with a torx screwdriver) and you'll notice a small circular device with 2 leads attached on the top of the machine, in the centre there's a small button, press it and it should've fixed it This is a thermal cutout safety device designed to switch the drying heater off if it becomes too hot. The probable cause for this is that you've over filled the machine and the air didn't circulate freely. as a rule of thumb, dry 1/2 as many clothes as you wash.

Frigidaire GLTF2940ES Front Load Washer stop spinning

Hello Kathy Murphy - Is the washer making a humming noise? If so, either the drain hose or pump is clogged and needs to be cleaned. Will the drum manually rotate (when it is not in use)? If it does not, then the washer drum may not be balanced and/or possibly have a broken shock. Is the door securely latching? Supposing it is not, then the door latch assembly will need replacing. However, since it is such a complex unit, I strongly suggest contacting a professional to accurately pinpoint any potentially more serious issues like the timer, pump or control board not communicating correctly.

Hotpoint WD63 not spinning correctly

Two things to check.
Remove rear cover.
Remove large black hose onto drum
Remove and clean filter inside hose.

Next--remove top cover and check the brushes in the motor, if they are less than 3 or 4 mm long, then replace them.
Please rate my solution.

Kenmore HE2 won't finish spin cycle

you have blockage in you drain plug. to solve this problem you'll have to remove the lower front panel of your machine by removing the 3 (1/4") screws on the vary bottom of the machine. once the panel is removed you'll see a 1 1/2" white PVC drainage plug. turn the inner plug to the left in till open. (WARNING ALL THE WATER IN THE DRUM WILL DRAIN THOUGH THIS PLUG) remove debris likes socks or everything that's there replace the panel and your all set.

My LG TROM wash googd but dosn't want to spin

Check and see what type detergent you are using. I bought regular liquid detergent and the machine began making noise during the spin cycle and the drum would not spin. I was informed that you have to use detergent that is labeled HE (High Efficiency). The regular liquid detergent will suds up during the wash cycle which then causes the drum to slip and not spin during the spin cycle. What you are hearing during the spin cycle is the drum slipping. Unplug your washer for 30 minutes and let it reset. This lets the suds dry out. Run a cycle with no spin to rinse out the drum. This should eliminate your problem. If you have clothes in the machine, run a cycle with no spin, just don’t add any more detergent. Then run the normal cycle with spin a second time with no detergent. I hope this cures your problem.

Hotpoint Ultima WMA61 loud knocking noise in spin cycle

Hello I think that the drum bearings have gone on the machine..

To open the door and spin the empty drum quickly by hand and you should hear the noise or say a less amplifed one.. Also another way to check is to move the inner durm up and down to see if there is any play in it..

If you need any further advice then dont hesistate to ask....
