Realtek ac97 audio driver

I think I accidentally deleted my audio drivers because after i deleted some files, and I played some music, there is no sound anymore. I downloaded Realtek AC97 again and install it.It was installed but there is no sound still.Please help. I need to repair my sound because I need to burn cd right now. Thanks in advance. ok, so i accidentally deleted Realtek... i was just trying to make room in my comp....and i pressed the wrong button....help me please!!!!

I have Windows XP, I have no clue what kind of Realtek im supposed to have either, so thats why when i went to the Realtek website i got even more confused....

You should have restore your system to the back date where every thing is fine

I could be mistaken but I think your audio system is a Realtek .

Realtek ac97 audio driver for xp free download


nowadays nothing is for free on the net, except if you go into sites that can harm your entire OS, if you have your install cd of yhe motherboard, insert it in cd/dvd rom, if it auto open the info, cancel and go to my computer, right click on the rom that contains the cd/dvd and choose Explore, under sound file browse for audio and then realtek ac97, once there look for the .exe file and install it manually

Our realtek audio player is deleted ,so songs are not playing in media player . please say me what shall i do now and how can i play the songs again


You need to reinstall the audio driver and manager. Go to makers website and download audio drivers and any other audio files and install them.

Realtek HD audio driver is only for Vista, not XP, you need the ac97 realtek audio driver

Hi,

Check if the system is muted.

Unmute it.Check for all the speaker connections.

Check the power connction to the speakers.

Open the device manager & see if it has any bangs like ! , ?, X mark.

If not check.Then Give the OS, mother board, make & model of the sytem information.
