It's LCD pannel problem

Remove the LCD pannel and checket flowrocent tubes at top of LCD Screen and Bottom of LCD Pannel. If U Find any burning area at end of F tube, please clean it and solder the flowercent tubes in same possion and connect as same.

Moniter not lighting

Most common failure in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what goes wrong: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

The moniter went all black and the power button on the moniter is flashing on and off

Please disconnect the monitor from the PC and if still the monitor is blank then monitor is defective because when you disconnect the monitor from the pc you should see a message on the screen about signal like no signal etc..

My sdm-hs73 moniter the power is on but screen is blank, what could be wrong

First check brightness and contrast settings.
If all good could either be your lcd back light has gone or the inverter. To check if its the black light shine a torch through the back of the screen to see if you can see a slight image on it, if you cant see anything the inverter board is faulty and to repair needs to be changed.
