HELLO THERE AND WELCOME TO FIXYA:
tHERE ARE A FEW THINGS THAT YOU WILL WANT TO FIRST ENSURE
FIRST ENSURE THAT THE WATER IS ACTUALLY TURNING OFF AT THE INLET VALVES ON THE MACHINE IF THESE VALVES LEAK THE WATER WILL CONTINUE TO ENTER THE MACHINE AFTER IT IS FILING THIS IS THE MOST COMMON PROBLEM ON THESE
HOWEVER IF YOU HAVE ALREADY PINPOINTED THE WATER LEVEL SWITCH AS BEING FAULTY THEN YOU CAN REPLACE IT HERE IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE IN THE IMAGE BELOW BE ADVISED THAT THEPART MAY BE A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT THAN THE ACTUAL ONE ON YOUR UNIT SO I WILL POST A FEW OF THEM
TO REMOVE THE PART YOU WILL NEED TO REMOVE THE COVER ON THE CONTROLE PANEL AND IT SHOULD EXPOSE THE TUBE THAT GOES FROM THE CONTROLE PANEL TO THE TUB WHERE THE PART IS

Asko 20.1 won't stop pumping unless I turn it off at the wall switch.

this happened to my D3111 and, sure enough, there was a split in the water outlet hose and the water overflow raised the polystyrene float block.
6 months later th same symptoms occurred but the inner base was dry. I took off the lower front panel under the door and found the water level (3 terminal) microswitch had burnt out, probably from running too long. Easy to replace if you can hunt down the $2 switch (brand name Zippy, 6 AMP)

My maytag washer is overflowing and won't go into

Hello there and welcome to fixya
This is a fairly common problems on these and other machines
Water-inlet valve A defect in the water-inlet valve may mean that it's no longer able to shut off completely when the electricity has been turned off to it. If this occurs, the valve may leak and drip water into the clothes tub. In time, the water may accumulate substantially. If this happens, you need to replace the valve. Water-level switch A defect--or an obstruction--in the water-level switch may mean that it can't tell the water to shut off. So the machine overflows. This switch senses the water level in the clothes tub. It's usually a diaphragm device with a small, clear tube attached between the switch and the bottom of the washer's outer tub. As the water level in the tub increases, the pressure on the air in the tube increases. When the pressure reaches a certain level, it activates the switch, shuts off the water, and signals the timer to begin the agitate cycle. You can either clear any obstruction in the tube or replace the water-level switch.

My washer wont fill with water what seems to be the problem

Hi

If the washer won't fill you'll need to check for the water inlet hose, the water inlet valve and the pressure/water level switch assembly. Inspect the inlet hose coming to the washer for any blockages. If the hose is not clogged then check the water inlet valve for any clogs, if the water will not even fill for few seconds then certainly the water inlet valve is bad and should be replaced. You can also use a multimeter to check continuity on inlet valve. If you don't get any value on the multimeter then you'll need to replace the water inlet valve assembly. However, if the valve is fine then the pressure/water level switch assembly should be replaced. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

What problems will the water level switch cause.

Most times these never fail. The problem is with the tubing going down to the base of the tub. The switch has 3 wires. A live wire and a wire to the water works and another to the motor works. So this switch is either going to allow for fill OR run the motor once the desired water level is met. It works on air pressure. So if sediment is in the base of the tub the air pressure won't build and the switch won't activate causing the tub to overfill. Sometimes a hole gets chewed into the tube. The case gets jammed up against the tubing after a repair. Or the tube simply vibrates off. Swing up the controls and give it a look see. Remove the tub from the switch and clear the sediment by giving it a good blow. Re-attach it and if any water is in the tub pump it out so that pressure can once again build in the tub.
If your switch turns out to be broken it would be rare indeed. themobilian_2772.jpgthemobilian_2773.jpgthemobilian_2774.jpg

My washer is displaying the code F35 I can not open it, I can't turn it off, it won't change.

F35 is a water level error.
The water level switch (pressure switch) has malfunctioned.

If you remove the top panel, three screws in the back, you will have access to the pressure switch.

With the tub empty, remove the vinyl hose from the switch and blow backwards through the hose to clear any restrictions.

If the fault codes return after doing this, you will likely need to replace the pressure switch.

Also - please be sure to use He soap.
