- hi thanks for your response but there must be some way to fix otherwise no one would buy them for £30 plus knowing about this problem any whiz tech guys out there
If your phone does not turn on then please remove the battery from the back and reinsert it.Next allow it to charge for 6 hours and then hold the power button for 30sec.Your phone should switch on now.

- Make sure your phone is on charge when you press and hold the power button for 30sec.Let me know the result.
Try first to remove the battery for 5 minutes than after that put it back in and charge the phone for about an hour , if still the same better if you can try a new battery to check that this is not a battery problem...
Hope that helps.........

- YOu may need to flash the Erom of this unit or better yet take it to a servcie center so they can check this and hopefully they can fix it...
Maybe the battery terminals and metal contacts on the battery compartment are pushed. Try to pull them upward so the battery can have a tight contact with those metal terminals. Try to clean those terminals as well using alcohol and cotton.
the flickering dim red light is not the infrared, it signifies that the battery lacks power to initialize the cellphone operation. you may want to leave it charged with the new battery for at least over night (initial charging) then once it is turned on, never leave the battery drained.
When your battery is fully charged and you get a dull light light as soon you switch on the phone, then try to reinstall install the phone software as it could corrupted and updating firmware - that is, changing the program code running the
operating system of the phone - can be risky. If something goes wrong
during the update process, you could be left with a non-functional
device, which must be repaired at a service workshop, so its recommended to do it local mobile service center.
I use to have the same problem with my phone and the reason why that was happening to mine was that i dropped one too many times after one day i tried turning on and nothing happened. I would check and see if your phone is under some sort of warranty which is the case for most phones.
