Dz-mv550e Problems !!!!!!!!!

I was hoping someone could help me, i have had my hitachi camera for a while but have never sat down to burn the movies i have to disc, until recently when for the first time i tried to use the software that came with the camera. i tried starting the movie album se but i get an error messagef7777777 or something like that, and it just shuts down. i know i do have a problem with my computer in that my sound card isn't being recongnised by my system and i have had no sound since i re-formatted it. would this be the cause of the problem with movie albumSE or not?????
also i have tried to used mydvd program but when i start it and press the video camera button it says it cant find my device. all i want to do is get the movies i have on my ram disc's and put them on a vcd as i dont have a dvd burner on my computer so my kids can watch them and i can re-used the ram discs, i dont really care if i dont get to edit them at this stage. How can i achieve this, any help would be gretly appreciated.
