Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

When i turn on my computer it does not turn on my monitor or boot up my harddrive

Have you moved or bumped it recently? If so the RAM could have come unseated...ie needs to be taken out and put in again.

Check these things (some obvious but you never know :) ) ---

1.Power cord is it connected both ends?
2. switch - not just the button in the front but the switch on the back
3. It could be that the power supply went out

Do you see anything? Hear anything? And signs of life at all? The above things would be the most likely places to start checking

first be sure the battery is actually charging ..than second thing to take in mind is the Ram memory ..cause it is the first thing that computer sees for to boot..
i fthe lights came on ..and you still got no activity after you verify the ram memory in another computer .. the only thing that remain is the the cpu..but ..I thing in this case it is the ram memory ..or a power issue..

I have the logitech keyboard and the sound will not work

I think you have a multimedia keyboard and you hear nothing when you try to use it or your keyboard is not working.Well if you remove the keyboard do you hear anything from the speakers? You might want to check the volume levels, make sure nothing is muted. The device you are trying to play make sure the levels are turned up.
Good luck

I can't hear anything coming out of them

a few things to check:

1. do the speakers work if they're plugged into anything else (eg a personal CD player or ipod)? If so, go to step A.
2. does a pair of headphones work in the audio-out socket? If so, go to step B.

A. check the sound driver. check software volume levels. check the audio out socket on the computer. It may need replacing.

B. replace speakers.

I CAN'T HEAR ANYTHING! HELP!

That has happened to me before, what happened was where you input the earphone jack was broken, no matter how many different headphones i tried none worked. Now I understand this doesn't help, but it might save a lot of time.
Although one short short term thing i did find out though, is that if you push the headphone jack to the side, sometimes you will receive a little sound.

I get a loud beep on my laptop but cant hear anything else

There is a beep system in all PC's
One quick been means the computer is OK when starting.
one long continuous beep is defined as :
' Power Supply or System Board / Keyboard stuck '

Note: Alternately it could be a Memory module
However it's more likely that it's the above

If you check those two things, you are likely to find the culprit.
If not, you need to post your BIOS and
