You cannot install this adapter on your Macbook , it is only made to work with Windows operating system from windows 98se up to windows Vista, you can try to look for a airport adapter that will surely work with your Macbook...You can check this link for the complete details about this adapter http://cnet.nytimes.com/adapters-nics/netgear-wg111-usb-adapter/4507-3380_7-30791890.html

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have a macbook and am trying to set up a new tivo premiere xl with a wireless n adapter. i am stuck at the phase were i have to put in 192.168.10.1 to be able to continue my set up. at 192.168.10.1 i...

I don't think your Macbook is required in this situation, if I understand correctly the wireless N adapter plugs into the tivo correct? If so then your entering the data via some sort of input device (keyboard, remote, etc.) into the settings for your tivo. Try powering your router off waiting 30 secs and then power it back on, then try entering the data again. It could also be that your router doesn't use the 192.168.10.1 numbering scheme, some routers like apple's use a 10.xx.xx.x system and others use 192.168.1.xxx. I'm guessing that the tivo setup is asking for your routers IP address so it can assign the wireless N adapter an IP address of its own via DHCP. If this is the case try looking in your router's user manual to see what the router's IP address is set to by default when you first install it. Hope this helps, I could help further if I had some more information about the situation. If this does solve the problem, don't forget to vote, rate, comment, etc. Thank you.

There should be software if it is a Apple Magic mouse, install software, then turn bluetooth on for mouse, unless your mac doesnt have bluetooth, then you need a USB bluetooth adapter.
