Question about D-Link RangeBooster G WBR-2310 Wireless Router (WBR2310)
I have a WBR-2310 that an old roomate left at my house. I do not have any software for it. I downloaded a quick router setup for it off of the d-link site. when i hook the router up to my laptop it is not recognized. I tried reseting it multiple times. What else can i do?
For starters you could hardwire your laptop to any of the 4 ethernet ports on the router then check if you have internet connection that way, now to connect wirlelessly you need to check if there is any wireless security enabled on the router, since your already hardwired to the router you can access the configuration page of the router by typing http://192.168.0.1 on the address bar or Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari. When you are prompted for a username and password just type Admin for the username and leave the password blank. Now you will see the setup page of the router, select if you want to run the setup wizard or choose manual setup for configuration. On the left hand side you will see three option, Internet, Wireless Settings and Network.
