Question about Toshiba TLP 260 Multimedia Projector
My Toshiba TLP-260 projector image color is fade. I called technician to fix. He said the color transition part is brocken and will not find this part. Where can I buy it?

The projector uses a polarising filter, in between the lamp lenses and the LCD panels. Due to overheating, it's possible for the filter to become tarnished - it's only a thin plastic film bonded to glass slide. Replacing the polarising filter is a complex job, requiring complete disassembly of the projector - but can be done. Use replacement polarising film from any optical camera supplier.

reset the settings to factory default. then make sure that the input matches the signal and that the cables are working. if you still have a problem, and the entire screen (including the initial toshiba screen) is entirely green tinted, you may have a main board issue.
