I now have removed the cover and confirmed all ribbon and other connections are tight, I reassembled and reset the unit, still have white line. Is there any other tests or do I have to order a new component?

Hello
Just do a factory reset to all option. Just go to its user manual page number [[64]. All the details are described there. OK.

The plasma display automatically selects and appropriate screen size when viceo signals are received from a connected HDMI equipment.. To activate this function enter inot its 'Adjustments and Settings' window, Press "HOME MENU". Seelct OPTION [UP/DN] then pres Enter. Select 'Auto Size' [UP/DN] then press Enter. Select 'On' [up/DN] then press Enter.
This adjustment must solve the proble to your Pioneer Plasma TV.

Go straight to the signal board. I have not personally repaired this TV. But I would investigate the signal board. It will have all the RCA jacks and RF connections. TheTVv seems to power up fine, so the power supply is good. As with an earlier comment, I would check all connections inside the TV. Before any attempt to pull the board out, you should always be sure the connections are are good and secure. Most problems are corrected here. If you need more info, I'll be here. Thanks for asking. Sincerely, Matt of Martins TV.

Since the fault has appeared after the TV was moved it is possible that there was some damage on the board or an alignment issue on the display section connectors. If you are able to shut down and remove back, press down all the connectors, remove and reset. check for any damage on the rear while it was transported , is so look out for any break.Other wise it is possible that there are errors within the display drivers for the noise pattern.Take help and consensus from Pioneer support .

Pioneer 5071 flashing blue light will not turn on

This usually happens when there is a new firmware available for this TV. You may need to contact Pioneer to get the firmware and you can install it from a Flash Drive. I can not recall (though I do own this TV) if this TV can be connected directly to the internet or not, however, if you check Pioneers Web Site, you should find the firmware unless they have discontinued this model in which case you will need to call them and see if they can email it to you or point you to a location on their site. Hope this helps. PS. I could not find any info on this TV on their site anymore, so I would suggest calling them Call 1-800-421-1624, Monday - Friday

Tv switching on and off can't find the problem

Hi Larry. I imagine that you have found an answer to your problem, long before now. But, just in case... I can tell you that the problem that you are having with the Pioneer PDP-5071HD 50" Plasma TV is the Power Supply Board. It is no longer able to distribute the correct amount of power to the rest of your boards. This is why the light blinks "Red" (usually 3x) and the set does not turn on. If you want to save your HDTV from the junk yard, you can purchase a new Power Supply Board and put it in yourself (it's not hard at all). I picked one up for $185.00, back when my set did the same thing. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Can I get Netflix streaming video? if so, how do I get the code?

You would need a box like the Western Digital live or a newer gaming system like Wii, Xbox, PS3. The code is given when you register that device to your Netflix account. I am unaware of any other way as the codes are specific to your account and the device your trying to use it on. The Pioneer PDP-5071 does not have a way to handle the stream without a separate device as listed above.

Pioneer PDP-425CMX 42" Plasma Tv

Try the scan PCBs that run down the side and the connectors that hook them up to the rest of the system. That would be my first place to start.

Unfortunately I don't have service manuals for non-european models. What is the date of manufacture?
