Intermitent loss of sound

Check the speakers first. If found OK, check and replace damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit. Check all the solder terminals at this section circuit first, before replacing any components.

My GPX tv/dvd combo is making an intermitent 'buzzing' sound, anyone know how to fix it?

Is the sound coming from the speakers? (do you hear it with the sound turned off)

Either an audio problem if heard only with sound up or if a buzz with sound off it is a coil or transformer on the circuit board vibrating hard enough to produce the noise.

Both are fixable but require different tactics to resolve.

No intm or washer. slow and fast ok

The intermitent system works off a circuit board which can not be tested by your means of your question. If the high & low speeds works fine the board is bad and should be replaced if sold separately from Chrysler

Try going in the settings and turning off "Steady sound". Or turn the audio setting to stereo, disable surround sound.
