Question about Motorola Mobility MOTOKRZR K1 Cellular Phone

Time setting is incorrect

I don't know how to resolve this problem and hope you do even though i think it's a manufacturer defect. The time on my phone is incorrect and has been for almost a year. The setting in my phone cannot take me to a menu where i can reset the time. It kind seems like a satelite connection that changes it all the time. What can i do or who can i call to speak to a person and not a recording.

Thanks for your suggestion in helping me. I did what you have instructed me to do, but in my intial set up under setting i don't have the Time and Date option. Any other suggestions?

Go to settings - Initial Setup, and your top option is Time and Date. Select this option and the top item is the time (time zone date and date format below). Select that and it takes you to the screen where you can change the time.

Why does it show incorrect time on kyocera duraxt

Your time zone could be set incorrectly (if you are not on automatic for date and time and time zone). I don't have a DuraXT, but on the Hydro XTRM you would go to Settings, then scroll down to "Date & time" and press that to access your settings for time zone. Hope that helps!

How and where to get the HTC Wildfire User's Manual?

As an HTC user myself, we're quite surprised with what this baby can do for us. May it be a task organizer that works like a virtual secretary, socializing, and even work and play at the same time. As a certified android user, I'm very very much satisfied with the performance of it(but not for gaming though) and will recommend it to a first time HTC/android user. I know that there are time that we tend to forget some things on our phone. It's not that we don't know how to use it, it's just we forget where these apps or settings are placed. That's why from time to time we may need to look into the user's manual. And I'm proud to say that HTC took some time in making sure that it will be easy for entry to intermediate users.

Here's the actual PDF (needs Adobe Acrobat reader to run) file:

Click on the link above to download the pdf file

For other languages, you can check this link:

Hope this simple tip can make your life easier. HTC wise :)

Samsung Mobile Phone;Model SGH-i200 will not retrieve incoming mms photos and will not send photos attached to sms (says I need to set up profile??) Thanks

It's one of two things. 1: the programing in your phone might be messed up, so you may have to take it into your provider store. Odds are though there won't be anyone smart enough to do anything about it (even though they do have the capabilities), so you might have to send it to the manufacturer. 2: Most likely your provider has blocked your internet service. Most smart phones can't send or receive MMS's if the subscriber decides to cancel there internet services. I think it's just a way to get you to pay for something you don't want. Non smart phones (that don't even have internet capabilities) are able to send and receive MMS's without having to pay for internet service at all, unfortunately most phones now are smart phone based even if they're not called as such. You don't have to get a plan for internet service, but you will end up paying for each kb you use to send and receive each MMS. If you do send and receive a lot of them you might actually be better of getting an internet plan. Ether way it sucks that we have to pay twice. I mean if we pay to send why does the other person have to pay to receive? Isn't it already payed for? Even when it's physical we don't pay to receive a package as well.

When I have Skype running, but in the background, it show me as offline even though I have not closed the app. Only when I go into it again does it show me?

Skype sees you as inactive if you have not interacted with it for a certain amount of time.

If you go to Tools and then Options you will see, under General Settings that you can set a time for Skype to wait before it shows you as "Away".

Hope this helps with your problem!
Please remember to me know if this information was useful!

Kind Regards

Callers' name doesn't show even though i have them in my contacts

Solution 1

Some caller's names does not appear even though they are on your contact list because you have then copied twice on your phone. What you'll need do it to delete one contact each for the caller id's that don't show when they call in. Once you get this done, your phone phone would begin to show contacts on your phone.

If you want to know if this true, then get someone around you and save his/her name twice then ask him/her to call you. You'll notice that the caller id would not appear, but once you get one of the contacts deleted and ask him/her to call you back, you'll discover that the caller's id would begin to show.

Solution 2

For your access point, just define it the next time you switch on your phone and save it. Then it would not have to change the next time you turn your phone on/off.

Solution 3

To get rid of the welcome go to Menu > Tools > Settings > General > Personalization >

You can set it from here.

Hope this helped.

Late receiver

I don't think so, because there are lot of factors why your phone receives late text messages, one is coverage of the service provider and outage. try using sim card on a different phone and then check if its doing the same thing. one factor is if your phone can't pickup that good signal then chances are message will come in late, try texting your own mobile number using the 11 digit dialing patern or put 1 before your number.

hope this helps
