How do you remove the cover from the Media Living Accents Tower Fan Midea FS10-S3R Tower Fan

The fix for this problem is that where the remote is housed, on the back of it you will see two white putty peaces. Remove by pushing down on one side and the putty runs sideways. Take a small flat screw driver on each side and pull up. Take out the two screws. Lift up on the top and you can pull the front face out a little. Now on the front of the long panel there is a slotted face plate, about halfway down on each side is a latch on the inside. Put a small flat screwdriver in the slot and it will pop open. Do the same on both sides. Now you can work on the fan blades, motor or whatever.

How do I clean my clean living tower fan?

Usually there would be a few screws in the base that need to be taken out and the outer case pulls out. This will expose the fan and filters inside. Hopefully that will allow you to clean the inside. Would not spray any cleaning agents. Just a light vacuum and wipe with clean moist cloth.

Do I clean model FS10-S4R the same as model FZ10-9HB have had this for a long time really needs cleaning bad it is a wonderful fan

compressed air , you might try bringing it to a electric motor repair shop or a auto shop and ask real nice if they would be nice enough to give your fan a shot of air. a weed blower will work also but not even close to the job of compressed air. last resort is to take it apart totaly and use soapy water and a scrub brush. do not get the motor wet ! and oil the bearings on the motor with zoom spout oil #D01.. and you can milk your favorite fan out for many, many years .. this way is like cheating death! ... jay the pool pump motor repair guy in longwood fl

On the backside of the fan at the botton is a little screw cover. Remove the cover then remove the screw. On the backside top of the fan right under the handle are two screws remove both of them. Gently pry the sides apart, about half way down on both sides are two molded clips, you can use a small flat blade screw driver to help seperate the cover.

cleaning the tower fan consists of this, i took the time to figure it out! unscrew top two screws on back of tower fan. then on bottom of tower fan is a screw cover,(pin size hole in middle of circle) pull cover off. unscrew hidden screw, and now with a little force it should pop right off. it exposes the filter and all it interior. front screen does not come off. oh yeah, your welcome!
