Need to find software for my x73 printer - Lexmark Office Equipment & Supplies

i'm having the exact same problem.... a person (from another forum) said that Lexmark will not update the driver for such an old printer. now i need to buy a new one =(

the lexmark website. just email them and they will reply with link to the instal disc. cable you buy from any comp shop

Sad to say, there is no Vista driver for this printer, installation disk notwithstanding. See:

Note: No Vista driver, but you might be able to use in XP emulation mode.

unplug it uninstall all the software reinstall the software abd when prompted plug in the usb cable.

The lexmark drivers and software required for installing the printer is available at www.lexmark.com

Select Drivers & downloads then driver finder.

Type in your model x2350 for example

Select your windows version

Download the setup program.

1.Download software
2.Run the downloaded setup
3.Plugin the printer when asked
4.Done

Good idea! Uninstall the Lexmark software. (Restart windows).
Before you reinstall the driver software download this free cleaning software & run it.

(Restart windows again when it has finished cleaning).
Rather than using your CD's go to the link & download the driver software. I'm not sure if your CD is the same (Date wise) or if the web site's software is the latest. Re-install the driver software.
While at the Lexmark link above, scroll down to the drivers section.
You'll see that Lexmark does not support Vista. From forum post others with the same printer post it will not function with Vista.

I had the same Lexmark x73. It takes an OEM Delta AC Adapter with an input of 120-125 V and an output of 30V. They have some on Amazon.com.

It should be plug and play. Are you using a parallel port or a USB port? Are you using the original software? Does it work on another computer?
