Question about Hotpoint WMA30 Front Load Washer
During a cycle it would not Spin, as there was not a lot of Water I opened the door and removed most of the garments.
Then Tried the slow Spin again, after trying a few times it gave up on spinning.
I thought the programmer may have got upset so I switched it off on the front. Left it a while and then tried the Hand wash programme it worked up to the pont of spinning where it stop. I noticed that there the drum was about 25% of water. So I guess the water is not getting pumped out.
I tried the Slow rinse programme but all that happend was that it filled with more water and is now about half full of water. Clearly it is not pumping the water out and I cannot hera the pum working so may be it thinks their is no water init., but I would have thought it would have sensed this and not added more water. Before I take it about have you any idea what can be wrong and how is the best way to get the water out
No easy way to get water out but try putting drain hose down at floor level into a bucket and that may work
fault is probably filter blocked.
to access filter, take rear back panel off. you will see a large diameter hose going from bottom of tub to pump. disconnect this hose at tub end - carefull, water will come out. filter is inside this hose. take it out, clean and reassemble
