Nokia N73 is know to have problems with start ups and hang ups.

Remove the memory card and restart it again. If this starts your phone appropriately, then the problem is with your memory card. Try to use a new one or format the old one with the help of a card reader.

Also, try cleaning up your messages and set the Log Settings to 1 day.

Clean up your internet cache history.

You can reset your factory settings - *#7370#

Try this out and let me know if this helps. Thanks! :)

WHEN STARTING MY NOKIA N95 IT DISPLAYS WHITE SCREEN AND HANG

Hi,

If your phone freezes, hangs up unexpectedly, vibrates continuously ,touch screen wont respond or in other similar ways doesn't perform as it should, this can often be solved by performing a software update. Software may perform incorrectly for many reasons without there being a fault in the phone. Some problems may be fixed by re-updating your current software, while others may require installing a new software version.

To keep your phone performing at its best, it's a good idea to perform a software update regularly. You might not always notice what an update has done, but it can prevent future problems.

To update or reinstall the software please go to nearest authorized service centre of your mobile make and they will update or reinstall the software as required.

Note: Reinstalling the software will delete all the content in your phone like contacts, calendar entry etc.

Thank You

My N73 aint working at all i updated a software and it got hanged now its nt even starting

Dear Ashad , your phone software not done proper Updating. Result is phone software corrupted and dead. Only one solution Just Visit Nokia service center and tell then to install the updated software for your Nokia N73. Problem will solve then. If your handset not on at home you can't fix it by yourself.
Thanks & waiting for your feedback.

N73 start up problem

Your phone needs to be reprogrammed, only a repair shop can do this for you.

You need to download the latest Nokia PC Suite to do an update on your phone.
Before updating software you should check that there’s a newer version of software available.

WARNING
When updating software on Mobs, be sure to:
HAVE A FULLY CHARGED BATTERY INSERTED;
PUT IT ON GENERAL PROFILE;
TURN OFF YOUR PIN NUMBER;
CONNECT YOUR CHARGER TO YOUR MOB AND SWITCH IT ON;
DO NOT ----- DO NOT ---- TOUCH YOUR PHONE WHILE THE UPDATE IS GOING ON;
THIS CAN TAKE 30 MINUTES OR MORE.
And obviously don’t unplug the phone from the PC.
Be patient, you may have to do a restart or two on your mob afterwards. Even remove the battery to get it going again (not recommended). But give it plenty of time.
It is also wise not to use your PC while updating software, just in case the PC freezes.
If the PC freezes during an update, you’re up the creek without a paddle...

I did an update on a Sony Eric 810i it took nearly two hours.
More... Your phone turns itself on and off, sometimes more than once while updating software, you should leave it well alone during the update.

Nokia N73 fail to turn on

There's nothing you can do to your phone. A repair shop might be able to re-program it. But it wont be cheap. Read below for future reference.

Do not reformat a mobile just because something has gone wrong and you know how to do it.
The damage is already done.
