Nokia N73 is know to have problems with start ups and hang ups.
Remove the memory card and restart it again. If this starts your phone appropriately, then the problem is with your memory card. Try to use a new one or format the old one with the help of a card reader.
Also, try cleaning up your messages and set the Log Settings to 1 day.
Clean up your internet cache history.

update or reinstall the software please go to nearest authorized service centre
of your mobile make and they will update or reinstall the software as required.
Reinstalling the software will delete all the content in your phone like
contacts, calendar entry etc.
