Question about Corel WordPerfect Office Professional Edition 2000 for PC
When I first installed WP into my new computer (vista 64-bit OS) and first opened it, I would get the message as indicated in the subject line three times. After clicking okay three times it would disappear and I could use the program without any further problems.
Today, everytime I try to do anything, such as select text, move my cursor, move to a different part of the page, you name it, I get this message, and I have to click okay many, many times. Needless to say, it's making it very difficult for me to work.
I don't want to uninstall and reinstall unless it's absolutely necessary.
Go to properties and change the compatibility to Windows XP (or an earlier versions were your Word Perfect worked on) and unclick all the checkmarks. Accept your changes - and the problem disappeared on my system.

THIS PROBLEM IS EASY LIKE EATING 123. EASY SOLUTION, OPEN YOUR WP9 PAGE AND CLICK OK MAY 3 TIMES ON THE ERROR CODE UNTIL IT DISAPPEARS AND MANAGE TO OPEN YOUR PAGE. ON TOP OF YOUR PAGE CLICK TOOLS, THEN SETTINGS, FILES, THEN JUST ONLY UNMARK THE MARK BOX ON THE - USE ENHANCED FILE DIALOGS AND APPLY YOUR NEW SETTINGS. WHEN FINISHED THAT CLOSE ALL YOUR PROGRAMS RELATED TO WP9 THEN INSERT YOUR INSTALLATION DISK AND BROWSE IT AND FOUND THE LAST INSTALLATION FILE NAMED WP9SP3 THEN INSTALL IT. JUST FOLLOW THE STEPS UNTIL FINISH INSTALLATION. WHEN FINISH INSTALLATION RESTART YOUR SYSTEM AND THEN OPEN YOUR WP9 AND LAUGH. IF THIS STILL MAKES YOU CRY LET ME KNOW FOR THE LAST EXTRA SETTINGS ON ITS PROPERTIES, BUT FIRST TRY THIS OPTION. WHEN THIS IS DONE RIGHT PRAY FOR ME EVERYDAY AND ASK GOD TO PUT ME UNDER HIS ARMS BECAUSE I HELPED YOU.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM OCCUR MOSTLY IN WINDOWS 7.
