Question about Whirlpool Calypso GVW9959K Top Load Washer
I have a strange problem and not sure where to go with this. The washer has been working fine until recently when I notice there is water on the laundry room floor. Had the technician out to check the washer for leaks and everything check out ok. Next I ran a wash load and notice that sudsy water was backflowing from the water discharge outlet pipe in the wall. Had the plumber out to clear the pipe and the problem is still there.
It seem to like during the rinse cycle the water discharge from the washer is too much for the outlet pipe to manage. Since the plumber had already cleared the outlet pipe, I am just wondering if there is a water regulator on the washer that might be causing the water to discharged at a higher rate than normal? This only happened within the last 2 months.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.
Why not just discharge into the laundry tub which will allow the water to build up but get away at its own pace through tub drain
