In desperation, I trawled the internet and am pretty sure that these are manufactured by Drayton, either a Drayton Digistat +2 or Digistat +3

Try this page http://www.gasapplianceguide.co.uk/drayton_central_heating_controls.htm

Good Luck!

I am wanting to wire a Baxi 105E boiler to a Danfoss 102 mechanical timer. The boiler has 5 wires = red, blue, earth, black and yellow. The Timer has six terminals = 1 DHW, 2 HTG, 3 COM, I (earth), 5...

1) Contact baxi:
http://www.baxi.co.uk/contact.htm

2) Which boiler wires? I don't know. Page 24 manual.
Manual says to disconnect link between terminals 1 and 2, and instert timer in-line.
http://www.acwilgar.co.uk/Boiler-Manual-PDF/Baxi/Combi%20instant%2080E%20&%20105E.pdf

2) I can tell you about the timer wiring.
Timer is 230Volts
Not sure if you have British Hot-Neutral 230Volt, or Hot-Hot 230Volt.
Wiring is same 2 wires, but words to describe are different.
Let's say you have Hot-Neutral 230V
Connect Hot to L6
Connect Neutral to N5
This will power the timer so it runs and keeps time.
You can get Hot-Neutral wires from Hot-Neutral that arrive to power the boiler.

Now the timer terminals are separate.
E terminal is Earth or ground.
The Common is Hot wire.
The timer then turns on-off and switches back and forth between DHW and HTG.
HTG is heating
DHW is defrost.
Timer has 2 sets contacts.

When timer activates first set of contacts, then DHW defrost terminal receives power from Hot wire on Com terminal. At this time, all power is cut to HTG heating terminal.

When the defrost cycle ends, then the heating circuit receives power, and then the timer has programming that opens and closes a second set of contacts going to HTG heating terminal.

Which wires from boiler connect to each terminal, I am not sure.

Can you replace a danfoss TP9 with a honeywell ST699

I believe the TP9 is a programmable thermostat.

While it appears the ST699 is a timer that connects to a thermostat.

So yes, they both control 230Volt boiler-and-pump. But there are differences.
Google search each item and include .pdf in search parameter to find product manual for each, and then compare wiring differences.

Model:pf1103t will come but won't turn pump on now???

PF1103 is thermostat for 120V and 240V applications, and is usually wired to a timer that controls pool pump. When temperature drops below thermostatic setting, the thermostat by-passes the timer and runs pump continuously so pipes don't freeze. Usually this question appears in wintertime instead of summer, so I wonder how the PF1103 is turning ON, unless you are experiencing problems with a timer.
PF1103 manual shows wiring:
http://www.1000bulbs.com/pdf/Inter-PF1102T-Operating.pdf
You can buy the thermostat separately
http://www.amazon.com/Intermatic-PF1102M-Freeze-Protection-Mechanism/dp/B004I4278M

1) As an electrician, I would begin by looking for loose wires, evidence of burning and high heat.
2) Next I would examine the circuit and circuit breaker to see if voltage is reaching the timer and thermostat.
3) Last step would be to test individual wires to isolate problem.
Be sure to stand on dry surface like plywood when testing live electric circuits.

If you have a timer, open following links to help identify timer module, and then add a comment with timer model:

I have a 2 chanel Terrier Timer in an apartment I am renting. I have no manual for same & I have no idea how to orerate it.

Timer id is not known.
Add a comment with in-focus photo of timer posted on Flick so I can compare with my timer files.
If this is a heat-AC thermostat control, then I probably do not have information.
If this is a boiler control, I might have information.

Paragon 8145-20 defrost timer

I am not professional at commercial refrigeration, and can't answer your question directly.
However, you can see 8145-20 240V defrost timer wiring diagrams and manuals on following link.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Paragon-timers-and-manuals.html#defrost

8145 timer is time initiated, and pressure/temperature terminated, with back-up time termination.

I can get the timer to start the boiler but it will not turn off its a hunnywell 20 years old with no serial number

Hi there, first of all you can try a simple test which will determine if the thermostat is faulty or not. With the boiler turn on or off simply turn the thermostat clock wise then anti-clockwise can you hear a click sound when you do this? if yes then, the thermostat is probably okay and the problem maybe a stuck relay which would require you to open the control panel on the boiler, keep in mind that the power must be shut off before you do this to prevent any chance of an electric shock , if the thermostat does not make any sound at all , then chances are that the contact points are welded shut in the on position and would require you to open the thermostat and release them (power off of corse) do not attempt to do this with the power on, if you feel that you are unsure of trying this then please contact a tradesperson in your area, if not then this how to do it.
With the power off take the cover off the thermostat, inside you will see a bi-metal strip with two contact points , try turning the knob an watch this contact point and see if is in fact opening the circuit, if you see that it is stuck , find a small flat blade screw driver and gently pry them apart, once this is done , inspect the contact point and lightly file it using a nail file , try to keep it square to the points so as to create a fresh contact point , do this to both or all points you can see, gently blow away the filing dust and replace the cover, turn it all back on and try it again, if it still does the same thing then replacement is imminent in which case you may either buy the part yourself (now that you know how to open it or contact a trades person in your area.
I hope this information helps you , but if it is not what you wanted or would like to chat live , give me a shout I'm on as often as possible so maybe i can help you even more ..
