I have had someone design a web site but he wants too much to put it on his server. Is willing for me to find my own server but I do not know how to do it..Georgia

HI, WHY GO FOR AN EXPENSIVE SERVER.. i also had once this predicament.. and then as per my friends recommendations a hosted my site with http://www.tucktail.com/ which provides lots of other allied services at alow cost

I would highly recommend using the company "Host Gator" to host your website....one of the most important things is the support from your host and these guys absolutley rock , 24/7 live chat and phone support. The prices are also very cheal , something around $4.95 a month.......
As far as the whole process goes , first you need to sign up for a hosting account, which you can do HERE - Not sure if you already have a domain name , but if you don't you can also do it through there....
After that you will be sent all of the infromation to access your account and its just a matter of loading your website to the server. You can do tha with any FTP software , such as "Filezilla"...like I said all the info you will need regarding uploading the site will be sent to you....
