I have Att servicse with you my # 910-655-3672 I call DTV and change my service with them and they told me that becauce you are no longer with them I will not get my $10 discount anymore. i had that problem to. i called att and was told to go buy a new sims card at wallmart or a att dealer neer me. i also was refunded my 40.00 phone bill for that month. but had to come out of pocket for sims card a 25.00 cost. i came out 15.00 ahead thanks to att and thare great custemer suport!!
I was trying to change security code and did not have a pin # and I changed my setting so no one could use my phone with code and it locked up and is asking for a puk code which I have no ideal what that is. I have no land line phone anymore,only my cell phone and I can't use my cell until it is unlocked. Please help
your friend's mobile phone might be sim-locked into a particular network only. T-mobile phones uses only sims that are T-mobile. If you inserted an ATT sim into a T-mobile phone, it is expected to react that way. That is also why, ATT told you to call T Mobile because it was not the responsibility of ATT if their sim won't work into a T-mobile phone (if that was really the case).
that was just a hint. the initial remedy would be is, insert a T-mobile sim into the T-mobile phone first and also confirm to your friend if it was a sim-locked phone.
subsidy codes are exclusively from the company. it's very, very, very (nth power) seldom that one can be provided online (w/c is safe and reliable). so please hope that either my suggestion would work or they will still provide the subsidy code because the case might be beyond the warranty requirements.
