Have you checked if it has other connectors? Typically, it might have a 3mm round plug, that is the same as your 3mm headphone stereo plug socket. The one on my camera has this but is has 4 coaxial connections along the shaft, instead of the 3 that you would see on a headphone plug. You will then need a suitable cable which would have RCA plugs on the other end. Alternatively, check the manual. Remember, if you don't have a manual for it, just go onto the Sharp website, and download one. They usually have them available for free.

Connectding audio/video cables when you have a cable box and sound bar with dvd player

How To Connect a DVD Recorder to a Television:
1.If you want to use higher quality cables, then you may want to connect the TV Source (Cable and Satellite only, not Antenna) to the DVD Recorder using Composite, S-Video or Component video and audio cables.
2.To use composite cables (also known as RCA, the yellow plug is video, the red and white plugs, audio): Plug in the composite cables to the RCA outputs on the back of your TV source and then plug in the composite cables to the RCA inputs of the DVD Recorder. Then connect the RCA outputs from the DVD Recorder to RCA inputs on the TV.
3.To use S-Video and RCA audio cables: Plug in the S-Video cable to the S-Video output of the TV source. Plug in the S-Video cable to the S-Video input on the DVD Recorder. Next, connect the RCA audio cable to the output on the TV source and the input on the DVD Recorder. Finally, connect the S-Video cable and the RCA audio cable to the output on the DVD Recorder and the input on the TV.
5. To use Component Video cables and RCA audio cables: Connect the Component Video cable and the red and white RCA audio cables to the outputs on the TV source and the inputs on the DVD Recorder. Next, connect the Component Video cable and RCA audio cable to the outputs on the DVD Recorder and the inputs on the TV.
6. Now that the TV source (either Cable, Satellite or Antenna), the DVD Recorder and the TV are all connected, you need to configure everything to make sure that TV is coming through the DVD Recorder, for recording and viewing.
7. Turn on the Cable Box or Satellite Receiver, TV and DVD Recorder.
8. If you connected everything using the RF connections then the TV should be passing through the DVD Recorder and displaying Television on the TV screen. To record in this mode, you would need to tune to either channel 3 or 4 on the TV and then use the DVD Recorder TV Tuner to change channels and record.
9. If you made connections using either Composite, S-Video or Component cables, then to view or record TV, two adjustments need to be made. First, the DVD Recorder needs to be tuned to the appropriate input, typically L1 or L3 for rear inputs and L2 for front inputs. Second, the TV also must be tuned to the proper input, on a TV usually Video 1 or Video 2.
10. If you have a Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound A/V Receiver you can connect either a Digital Optical Audio cable or Coaxial Digital Audio cable from the DVD Recorder to the receiver to listen to audio through the receiver.

Trying to hook laptop to lg lcd tv with s-video cable tv says no signal

Most laptops come with a VGA output terminal. And it depends if your LG LCD TV has VGA video input(it should be similar with your laptops' terminal). So if yours is equiped with that(VGA video input)It is indicated by The word or acronym "PC"input, and use a VGA cord available from Staples, best buy or your local computer shop. Also include an Audio RCA plug(Red and White) with an stereo earphone plug on the other end or else you'll have no sound. The RCA plugs goes to the audio input in your TV the other end goes to the speaker phone jack of your Laptop.

Please let me know how can i connet my ccd-trv208e model sony handycam to a computer and write it on to a cd.please let me know the pheriferals and softwares req.

You need to install a video input card into your computer. These are widely and cheaply available for PCs running Windows, and will come with the software required. You can then record the video off the camera or VHS player into a computer file, which you can then copy to a CD later. The card will have sockets for standard RCA plug type analogue video and audio leads.

How do I play music from my lap top on this sound system?

your laptop has an audio output jack that is 1/8 inch sterio .. your sound system likely has RCA input jacks .. you can get a cable from radio shack that has a 1/8 inch (3.5mm) sterio plug on one end and two RCA plugs on the other ..
plug the 1/8 inch jack into your computers audio output (headphone jack) .. the RCA plugs will connect to the AUX (analog) input on your sound system .. select AUX on your sterio system to select the computers input .. now you should have great sound from your computer . the computer likely provides only sterio information so the multi (7) channel feature of your sound system will have to fake it ..

I have an RCA TV, I am trying to connect my computer to it. My computer has an RCA cable in the back of the computer.

is the rca orange or yellow? If it is yelow, you can plug an rca cable into it and run that into the video input on your tv... If it is an orange rca, that is a digital audio output. You can also get a SVGA (regular monitor plug) to DVI or Component RCA cable adapter at radioshack and other electronics/computer stores.

How to connect surround sound system, at the moment its connected through cable, each time we use the dvd player we have take them out of the cable box then into the dvd player, we have a LG 42PC55 tv.

In order of picture and sound quality -- from best to worst:

1. The best way to connect, assuming your TV and A/V Receiver and/or Cable Box have the jacks, is to use a HDMI cable ( this cable is for both sound and video).

2. Use Component Video out to input (3 RCA plugs, Red, Blue & Green) along with RCA Audio out to input (2 RCA plugs for stereo - 1 for mono).

3. Use S-Video out to input (1 din plug) along with RCA Audio out to input (2 RCA plugs for stereo - 1 for mono).

4. Use Video out to input (1 RCA plug, yellow) along with RCA Audio out to input (2 RCA plugs for stereo - 1 for mono).

Be sure to select the correct inputs on your TV and Audio/Video receiver when you are watching TV. For example if you have connected your TV to HDMI 1 and DVD to HDMI 2, you will not see or hear anything if you don't select the correct input on your TV and A/V receiver for the input you want to see and hear.

Detailed connection instructions will be found in your owners' manuals.

Hope this helped you. :)

No S-Video nor RCA Video output to monitor

First, you've checked and the monitor will display other sources plugged into the same monitor input?  And you've tried plugging the receiver into another TV?  Otherwise all I can tell you is that the receiver does not convert.  So if you want to see S-Video on your monitor, you have to input S-video.  If you want to see RCA output, you have to input RCA.  Best of luck.
