Microsoft office personal edition 2003

I uninstalled the microsoft office personal edition 2003 japanese version in my pc because i wanted to replace it with microsoft office 2007 version...But the 2007 version can not be installed. So i reinstalled the 2003 again, inserting the disk...but it doesnt install too. After i insert the disk, many files in rar format came out. I dont know what to open. The window installer ran but it says, can not access, and looking for package. I have my serial key, but it wasn't asking for serial key. It just says can not access the package.

Go to Mycomputer and right click on the icon for the CD drive in which the install disk is. Next click "Open" on the popup menu. All the files that are on the CD will come up. Find the one called "Setup" and double click it.

download the free version of revo uninstaller. you might need to be a little patient uninstalling microsoft office as it sometimes appears to not be doing anything - you just need to wait for around 5 mins, if nothing, cancel the office installer and revo will continue the uninstall process for you.

Dont like the fact that I do not have the toolbars as I did in 2003 edition. How can I get back to 2003 version?

if you've recently upgraded to Microsoft Office 2007 from 2003 and weren't happy with the decision, you can easily revert back to your older software. Each version of the Office software package will be considered a different program by your computer's operating system, so to revert back to your previous installation you only need to uninstall Office 2007 and reinstall Office 2003. Difficulty: Easy flow my Instructions
  1. Uninstall Office 2007. To do this, open the "Control Panel" and select "Add or Remove Programs." Click "Microsoft Office 2007" and then click "Remove."
  2. Put your Microsoft Office 2003 compact disc in your computer's appropriate drive. Either a CD-ROM drive or DVD-ROM drive will work.
  3. Click "Next" to begin the installer for Office 2003. Continue to click "Next" until you reach the screen where you are asked for your product key code. Enter the product key code found in the Office 2003 packaging and click "Next."
  4. Enter your name, business name and initials (if you so choose). Click "Next."
  5. Choose which type of installation you would like to perform. You can choose to install each program in the Office 2003 productivity pack, a "typical" installation which installs only the most widely used programs like Word and PowerPoint, or a custom installation where you individually choose which programs will be installed.
  6. Click "Next" to view a summary of all of the installation settings you've specified. If you're happy with the summary, click "Install." This will install Microsoft Office 2003 on your computer using the settings you've meticulously specified.
hope that it will be help full

Without the CD you are out of luck installing Microsoft Office. However there is a FREE alternative. Open Office will do all that Microsoft Office will do and it is free. I use it every day. Get it here and be sure and install the latest stable version for the OS you are running. http://www.openoffice.org/

You need to uninstall the unlicensed copy of you Office 2003. It will not affect your files but your files are not readable until you did not install a Office. After you uninstalled the unlicensed install a new copy of your license Office 2003. If you have problem about your license key you can contact or call microsoft for more details.
