Question about PC Desktops

1 Answer

I am singularly unsatisfied with the way you do business, I find it deceptive. vis. the first indication of price (of any kind) is two items at $9,95 each. however when we proceed to the get registered page, Lo and Behold we are now looking at $59. , however, finally the end figure turns out to be $70.32! why not quote the total value of the product before all this registration stuff and before credit card details have been imparted? What you are doing here I am sure is illegal under the Distant Selling Act I now wish to CANCEL the total thing and I shall go to Microsoft to find out if they are aware of what you practices are. I repeat CANCEL the order . This email will be copied to my credit Card Company a.s.a.p.

Need money fast

If you're in need of money quickly, whether to pay emergency bills or start a small home business, here are several ways to get started.

Whatever the reason, we all find ourselves in a situation where we need money FAST! There are many ways to get the money you need quickly and fairly easily.
The best way to get started is to sell anything that you have and really don't need.
We all have clothing, knick-knacks, toys, etc., laying around that we no longer need.

OPTION 1: ONLINE AUCTIONS - Auction sites such as eBay allow you to sell almost anything under the sun.
Any items you have laying around that are in fairly good condition can be sold this way.
Just be sure to factor in all of your costs and add it into your starting price.
You will need to consider the fees to list your items and your shipping fees (which the seller pays). If the items you are selling will fit in a large envelope, and you use priority shipping, you can ship almost anywhere in the U.S. for less than $5.
Larger items vary, but you can get postage prices at USPS.com.

OPTION 2: Consign - There is also the option of your local consignment shops, these are especially useful if you have large items (like furniture) that aren't easy to ship (through an Ebay sale).

Here you will find that you can sell almost anything in these locations as well.
The beauty of this option is you don't have to mess with anything, no watching auctions, printing shipping labels or mailing packages.
Just go drop off your bag of clothing, box of knick-knacks or furniture and check in with them in a few days to see what you've sold.

OPTION 3: Garage/Yard Sale - You could also hold your own garage sale, or if your location is not the best for this, go in with a friend.
Offer to hold the sale at her home and in exchange, you will manage the sale and track their items that are sold.

1) A trader bought 45 dozen items for 2700 naira. If 15% of the items got destroyed, what should be the cost per item to make a profit of 265? 2) A woman bought 200 mangoes for 800 naira she discovered...

Answer A:

45 dozen: 12 x 45 = 540

Destroyed: 15% of 540 = 540 x (15/100) = 81

Remaining: 540 - 81 = 459

A profit of 265 means that 459 items must sell at 2700+265=2965 naira or 2965/459=6.46 naira approximately.

Cost per item = 6.46 or 6.5 naira approximately

Answer B:

Cost = 800 naira

8 spoilt. Remaining = 200 - 8 = 192 OR 16 dozen (12x16=192)

Selling price: 60 naira per dozen = 60 x 16 = 960 naira

Profit made (selling price - cost price) = 960 - 800 = 160 naira. Percent profit = Profit/cost x 100 = 160/800 x 100 = 20%

Percentage profit = 20%

Need to key in my specials prices have used up all 24 preset ****

The TE-2000 should allow price over-ride as standard, so instead of just pressing the item button to ring up the preset price, type the price first on the numeric keys (NO DECIMAL POINT, so $5 = 500) then press the item button to sell it at the new price for that sale. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You create a new folder, name it something like "deception" and save it. Then insert the disk and begin install, when it asks you where you'd like to install it, click browse, and install it in the folder you created previously. It won't work if you just install it in the recomended folder...

PLU and department Casio TE 2000

Hi.
Your machine comes standard with 24 department buttons on the keyboard, and PLUs by memory location. It is hard to explain simply, but the basic idea is that a department is designed as a category key, and a PLU (Price Look Up) is designed for specific items with an attached price. As your machine has a pricing function for departments, you really don't need PLUs on such a simple machine.
What I'm really saying is the keyboard has departments on it which can be set with a name and price so that they can be one touch buttons to bring up name and price with a touch, or you can have them open price (where an item has no preset price, so you type the price each time). If you need a lot more than 24 item buttons, you will have to do the rest by code numbers, as this is only a basic machine.
Just let me know how many items you wish to enter into it, and I'll tell you how to program it.

The tables you are referring to with a+b=c etc. are the machine features, or system programming. These are the important settings that tell the machine what things to print, how the function keys will operate, security settings etc. These are mainly for us dealers, as they are written in tech speak as you can see. I don't recommend changing any of them unless you need to, as you can get into a mess. If you tell me anything that doesn't work how you would like, I can help you to set the machine features where necessary.
