E20 is not an exact error code. It's indicating a possible pump out
problem. Here is a few possible causes of an E20 error code:

    1. Restriction in the drain pump

    2. Failed pump

    3. Water not pumping out fast enough (crimped drain hose)

    4. Too many suds ( too much detergent or wrong kind)

    5. Pressure switch (not communicating with control board)

    6. Loose wire at pressure switch

    7. Loose wire at pump or control board

    8. Failed control board

Most likely there is something blocking the motor spinning. This is from the afore-mentioned article:

"Thanks to the different postings on the net about a E20 error code I
took apart my washer’s drain system ATF7000 to find. A pare of little
girls underpants, one hair band, one plastic green gem, a golf ball
sized wad of wrappers/stickers/???, and almost two dollars in coins.
All caught up in the plastic strainer located inside the black rubber
boot found on the bottom of the tub leading into the drain pump.

Here is how I did it: After emptying the washer of sloppy contents, I
sucked as much of the water out with a shop-vac. I then turned the
washer onto it’s left side gently using a couple of towels as a cushion
(unplugging the washer and hoses first). From the bottom and back panel
you can access the drain hose/pump/coin catch. With a pair of pliers
you can remove the clamp holding smaller end of the rubber coin catch
to the tub, with a Phillips screw driver you can remove the larger
clamp of the rubber coin catch to the tub. From the back panel you
again use your pliers to remove the clamp to the drain line, and
finally with a Philips screw driver remove the two screws holding the
pump to the bottom of the washer. Oh yah, do not forget to unplug the
wire from the pump. Now pull the pump out with the black rubber boot
still attached. Mark the orientation of the pump to the boot with a
sharpie pen, and remove the last clamp. Now look inside the black
rubber boot and gently remove the plastic basket inside, there you will
find the treasures that just wasted the last hour of your time. Now
reveres those steps, reinsert the half washed clothes, and enjoy your
    new machine.

Thanks again to everyone that has posted before me, otherwise I
wouldn’t have known were to even start looking. I hope this helps
    someone."

Another possible cause of that is the detergent dispenser door is not
closed properly. Just need to make sure it's closed all the way. If
these do not solve the problem, then I recommend calling in the repairman.

    Hope that helps!

E20 code. Not draining

E20 is a general error code to get to the real problem try this..
Reading Error Codes 1. Wake the washer by pressing any button. 2. Wait 5 seconds. 3. Press and hold the START/PAUSE and CANCEL buttons simultaneously. As long as the buttons are held, the failure code will appear in the display as an “E” followed by two numbers, a number and a letter or two letters. The control will beep and the Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, and Final Spin indicator lights will flash. let me know what code come up... hope it helps

Frigidaire front load washer (LTF600ES1) Error E20

Your washer is not draining properly. You need to check if the drain hose is kinked and also whether the household drain is running smoothly.

Leaks water

Okay, to check for your source of a leak, start by removing the 2 screws on the lower front panel of the machine. This will let you see inside. As you are running the washer, watch where the water is coming from. If from the front, you may have a hole in your boot (the black rubber up front) If so, you may need to replace the boot (the part comes with step by step instructions). If coming from the middle, your tub seal may be going bad. A quick fix is tighten the 12 or 14 bolts that go all of the way around your tub. This will only be a temporary measure. The tub will have to be taken apart and the seal replaced. (this is a 1 1/2 hour - 2 hour procedure for 2 technicians) If it leaking from the rear, you may have a bad tub bearing. You can remove the back panel to be certain, but usually a bad bearing will be accompanied by a roaring noise durring the spin cycle. As for the dryer leaving brown marks? Usually the front seal has been dammaged. Run your finger around the front of the drum (where it meets the front panel) the gap should be about the same all of the way around. If it is not, you may need a new front seal. (this is much cheaper and less time consuming on the dryer compared to a seal on the washer)
