I couldn't open the camera. when im trying to open it it shows and error message on screen "zoom did not operate correctly...."

Digital cameras with shutter covers sometimes jam, keeping teh cover from retracting and the lens from extending. That is what is giving you the message. You may be able to assist it by gently pushin it open when you turn on the camera. Key phase there is "gentle". Do not force it open as you may permanently damage it. If the motor is locked up or the lens cover still refuses to open, take it to a camera shop for service.

Hard to open the back cover of my Samsung Galaxy Fit GT S5670

Hello and welcome to FixYa;

To remove the back cover to get to battery and sim card;

turn phone over screen facing down;

at base of phone; apply pressure with thumb and slide up;

lift cover off.

It may be difficult to remove cover if it is securely in place; however; if it is easy, the battery usually becomes 'loose' and your phone will either keep resetting itself and/or freeze and power off continuously .

Go to this link;

http://www.pdfuu.com/samsung-galaxy-fit-s5670-manual-users-operating-guide-troubleshooting.html

Half way down page, it will say; download FREE;

click on this and a PDF will come up; on page 11, it will show you exactly the motion to uncover your battery/sim.

Yes, it is a pain when they are hard to get off; but this really is a good thing for your battery to stay secure and keep your phone working properly.

Let me know how this worked out for you. If my solution helped you, please rate this solution!
It doesn't cost anything and only takes a second, but it is greatly appreciated.

The screen says the "back cover is open" and

If you turn the printer off and then back on with a paper jam in it you will get this error message instead of a paper jam message. To clear the paper jam from the back of the printer read the instructions from here: http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/BSC/public/us/us/en/faq/faq/000000/000600/000096/faq000696_001.html?reg=us&c=us&lang=en&prod=mfc7420_all&Cat=11

Have an Olympus Stylus Tough -6000 digital camera and when I turn it on a message appears on the screen that says "card-cover Open" and it won't allow me to operate the camera. The problem is...

remove the batteries and the card from the camera and clean it with something smooth and dry ...after that reinsert the card in th ecamera several times until it is recognised..this happens when the card it is not proper inserted ..or something is meesing with the sensor that detects the cover position...so a gentle cleaning inside will help also..

I cannot open Gallery on my nokia 6500

Check the back cover is on securely...

The back cover on these has a trigger mechanism that goes into the phone to make the memory card work, the back cover being on wrong causes the memory card to go off or on and off...

Canon sd300 cant see pictures taken

This may sound silly, but did you check the shutter on the end of the lens when the camera is on to make sure that the shutter is open? Sometimes some dirt or sand can get into the lens barrel and make the shutter get stuck in the closed position. If this happens, gently open the shutter with a a toothpick or something (NOT your finger because of the oils and NOT something that will scratch the lens).

If the shutter is open and the pictures turn out black both on the camera's LCD and on the computer once you download them, then I'm guessing something happened to your CCD, which is the tiny electronic chip that records the light coming through the lens. Either something inside the camera has fallen in front of the CCD and is blocking the light (unlikely) or the CCD chip has died. If that's the case, I hate to say it but buying a new camera would be more cost effective (and probably cheaper) than getting it fixed.

Blank LCD screen on shooting mode, but does show settings. Will not take pictures. Replaying mode works, shows pictures taken before screen went blank. New batteries. What is going on??? Is it fixable?

Thanks for that link, I will keep it handy! Be careful however, because the exact same symptom can be caused by a stuck shutter. To tell if it is a stuck shutter follow these steps: 1. Turn off the flash!! 2. Look down into the lens. 3. Take a picture. Did you see anything change? The opening at the center should be momentarily covered by a matte black shield. If you take a picture and see no change inside the lens then the shutter is stuck closed or open. If Canon finds your shutter to be stuck and not a CCD failure, the repair will not be free.. very not free. David Millier Advance Camera Repair

Shutter won't close on Nikon D70s

Format the card. I have same problem with mine ---requires a new shutter assembly.$40.00 item and they want $300.00 to fix it at Henry`s cameras. Ouch .Better to buy a new camera.

No pictures recorded/black screen

it seems that shutter blades are stucked and are not working. when you say shutter is fully open i think you are talking about the lense cover, not the internal shutter assembly. the red light is the indication of OUT OF FOCUS SUBJECT OR FLASH NOT READY. if the shutter blades aare not open the camera would not be able to do the focusing and will flash the red light thus you would not get any image. contact the repairer.
