Question about Digital Blue Digital Movie Creator Camcorder

2 Answers

Deleting Please help! I have been using the cameras with my class today and after we edited the movie we saved the storyboard. As is was saved, I decided to have a "tidy up" and delete all the individual video clips. Stupidly, this also deleted them from the storyboard! I can find all the files (that I didn't delete) within Program Files in My Computer but as soon as you delete one from the software, it disappears from the folder too! It doesn't go to the recycle bin. I have attempted a system restore but the restore points (typically) don't tie in with the time frame I need. I have also carried out numerous searches for said files but to no avail. Please help me - I have a class of devastated kids here!!!

You may try some recovery software to rescue your videos, here are some for your option.

Photo Video Recovery (for Windows)
Photo Video Recovery for Mac
Both programs can also recover music.
Note: Before your files are recovered, do not attempt to save more files to the memory card of your camera in case the original files(your videos) are overwritten.

I have a Flip Video recorder. My movies are currently saved on YouTube . . . I would like to create a project using the videos saved on YouTube but cannot figure out how to "drag" or import them...

If you mean you want to download youtube videos to put into a project, than you can go to keepvid.com to download them, or download a program like youtube downloader .As long as they are not on your computer, than you can not use them. Youtube itself will not let you download from the site directly, but it is completely legal to do so with other programs.
If you need help with using movie maker itself visit Movie Maker Forums.

How do you save a "project" on regular size dvd?

You need to have DVD burning software. There are many out there, each with their own pros and cons. I use MyDVD 10 Premier from Sonic. It's and easy program that lets you create movies with all the bells & whistles then burn your movie easily to DVD. No matter what software you choose, you need good DVD burning software to get what you want. Hope that helps. Let me know if you need anymore help. Feel free to rate my answer if your satisfied and thanks for coming to FixYa.
