Yes, you are going to need to download new drivers for Windows Vista

Windows Vista Driver For the X4250: http://www.techspot.com/drivers/driver/file/information/9086/

^^ Just download and install that , will get your printer right up

As for the X75 , there does not seem to be a Vista driver out for it yet , you can give the XP driver a shot and see if it will work

Lexmark all in one x4250 from moorilda@hotmail.com

Hi,
I'm not sure what you are asking, but I thought maybe you needed the driver software for the Lexmark X4250 so click on this link, and choose either XP or Vista from the bottom of the page and download.

Hope this helps

Printer won't print

Although Lexmark has not released a Windows Vista driver for the Lexmark X75 printer, there is a good chance that Vista will support your printer without the need for installing a driver (i.e. Windows Vista probably comes with a driver for your printer already built into the operating system). Windows Vista comes with support for 2.2 million devices and since your printer is not a new model, it is likely to be supported. Just try connecting it to a computer that is running Windows Vista and see if it is detected and installed for you.

We do have the drivers for Windows 2000 and Windows XP available for download from our driver database:

Lexmark 75 Printer Compatibility with Windows Vista

Hi ksc1027,

Sorry to to have to tell you, but it's time for a new printer.
Lexmark has not released Vista drivers for the X75.

At least you won't need to waste any more time looking.
If you know someone still using XP (I still do), see if they would like a new acquisition.

Lexmark X75 all in one

Hi tonywije,

Sorry to to have to tell you, but it's time for a new printer.
Lexmark has not released Vista drivers for the X75. Nor are they planning to.

At least you won't need to waste any more time looking. It's a shame. They are good printers.
To offset the cost, if you know someone still using XP (I still do), see if they would like a new acquisition.

You may find it hard to get a driver for the Lexmark to work under Vista - especially if you have the 64bit version. Contact Lexmark to see which driver they recommend for your machine and OS
