Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
When you put in a disc, listen for the disc to start spinning. If you do not hear that then the laser diode has blown out. You will have to get your Blu-Ray player serviced by a pro or Sony. Sony may fix it for free or replace your unit.. They know that the drives are failing. So call them first. If you know how to do it yourself, you will need part KES-400A if it is not spinning. If it's spinning and not reading the laser may be dusty or need replacement. The laser by it's self is part number is KES-400A. If you need any more information, please do not hesitate to hit my "Ask Me" button.
You can purchase the KES-400A replacement lense and replace it yourself by looking at some videos on youtube.
I hope this helps. Good luck and happy gaming!!
